Ordering and management
There are 2 simple alternatives:
- Order directly on our web-based HIP management system, which we will be able to link to the majority of Estate Agents’ in-house systems. Richards Gray will then interact directly with the vendor, agent and solicitor (if one is involved) whilst the HIP is being produced
- If a solicitor or other third-party is to manage the HIP, we have a simple web-based ordering link which will allow Estate Agents to pass the key details to a solicitor (or direct to Richards Gray) who will then take care of all the ordering, procurement, assembly and quality control of the HIP, and finally delivering the finished product back to the Estate Agent.
We can also accept manual orders via fax or email to help you get started.
Our HIP system
Our HIP system has been developed in partnership with Quest Associates, one of the leading IT suppliers to the property sector in the UK. We have made a number of major bespoke developments to the standard Quest System in order to allow flexibility of use for our very diverse client base. The systems are built with traffic light status and email / text alerts, which provide information to all parties as to the status of each key element of the HIP, providing visibility and access.
A key feature is that the HIP can be assembled electronically at any stage of the production process, thereby allowing estate agents to market the property at the earliest opportunity. The system also allows agent controlled web access to a specific HIP to potential buyers, thereby reducing the need for printed copies, and reducing the carbon footprint of a Richards Gray HIP!
An EPC graph generator is also included to allow agents to include the required EPC ratings in the sales particulars.
We have produced well over 1,000 full trial HIPs in 2007 - our systems are fully operative, tested and available now for ordering.

Delivery and branding
All HIPs will be provided with 2 hard copies, and online as standard, and we also have a memory stick / CD option. We offer white-label branding to all of our clients, whether you have one branch or many offices.
